Solo travelers are warmly welcome. Unfortunately, costs may sometimes be higher if they are not shared. Our prices are also based on double occupancy. Our itineraries are extensive without specified prices. Share your budget preferences, and we will take them into account.

This serves as a glimpse into what a 10-day highlight trip with a touch of wabi-sabi in Japan might entail.​ Experience a captivating 10-day journey across Japan, exploring the key attractions of Tokyo, Hakone, Kyoto, and the artistic haven of Naoshima.

Fly into either of Tokyo’s airports, Narita (NRT) or Haneda (HND). This sample itinerary can also be customized to begin in the Kansai region (where Kyoto and Osaka are located), flying into either of Osaka’s two major airports, Kansai (KIX) or Itami (ITM).

Depart from either of Tokyo’s airports, or customize this trip to end with departure from Osaka or elsewhere in Japan.​ You stay in Japanese boutique hotels or local (but luxurious) ryokans and venture off the beaten path in major cities. You cycle, cover part of route by shinkansen (train), and meet many locals.

Arriving in Tokyo on the first day, jetlagged and bleary-eyed, the vibrant chaos of the cityscape felt like a surreal dream, a blend of neon lights, bustling streets, and the distant hum of an unfamiliar yet enticing rhythm.

Tokyo 

It is your first full day in Tokyo and  with a guided half-day tour, exploring vibrant neighborhoods and tranquil gems, led by an expert guide. In the evening dive into a local izakaya where Tokyo's culinary spirit comes alive with flavourful dishes and a lively atmosphere.

Tokyo - Hands-On Sushi Workshop and Explore Historic Tokyo.

Embark on a morning sushi-making journey with a seasoned sushi chef, crafting Edo-style sushi at their authentic sushi-ya. Hakone

Final supper at Sushi Bar
